Support a Great Cause and Get a Gorgeous Antonio Realli Gown

UPDATE: The winning bid for Antonio Realli's gown was $1000. The generous bid was made by Diane Johnson of Illinois. This amount will be donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind through Metrodolls. Many thanks to Antonio and Diane.

Happening NOW!
My good friend and wonderful dress designer, Antonio Realli has contributed a gorgeous gown, the proceeds of which will be donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind, (https://www.guidedogs.com/)
Metrodolls Club has a charity luncheon planned for November 12, 2017 to benefit that organization and presenting them with a check from the proceeds of this auction will help the great cause.

THE GOWN
The dress is a fitted, sleeveless sheath with an A-shaped lower portion. The first layer is a sheer net with gold embroidery. Over that are many hand-applied tiny cream colored pearls and gold sequins. The hand work is beautiful and precise. The back as well as the front is embellished. There is a zipper closure. This gown fits Integrity Toys FR16" dolls as well as Kingdom Doll.

HOW THIS WILL WORK
Bidding starts at $175.
YOU decide the maximum you are willing to pay for the gown.
E-MAIL your bid to me. Do not post it, please. My email is huntdolls-one@yahoo.com.

AT THE END OF THIS EVENT, the person submitting the highest offer wins the gown. I will publish the winning sum and the winner's name (if they permit.) Postage will be determined according to the winner's location.
Make your best offer!
Any questions? Email me, please.

Neither Savile nor her accoutrements are included.

While today was all about workshops and shopping, the day's highlight was the Poppy Parker Luncheon featuring star designer David Buttry!
Lucky conventioneers got the chance to purchase today's fabulous luncheon centerpiece doll. Then, as the event closed, everyone in attendance received an ultra cute Poppy Parker doll for free as a thank you gift for attending the luncheon. The air was electric all over again!
Here are images of the centerpiece and the complementary Poppy Parker doll available at the luncheon today!

I'm curious as to what charity this auction benefits. Or is there no charity? A convention of this scale should include some charitable event.
A tradition that started a few years back continues this year with the introduction of four new OOAK (one of a kind) creations by the IT Design team, which convention guests can enter to win raffle style! In addition to these four exquisite, ultra rare birds of beauty, convention guests also get to participate for the first time in raffles for chances to win their favorite complete collection of 2015!

More Photos from the Kingdom Doll and MetroDolls Events

I finally moved most of my new goodies into my studio in order to take better photographs.
Here are Liberty in her gorgeous Dior inspired suit and Chaucer in the optional purchase pink version of the suit along with close-ups of the jackets.

Here are some photos of the amazing Bashettte bed that I won in the auction.

The Marley doll was included along with her original outfit and box with shipper.
The bed is metal. The mattress, two pillows, sheet and top sheet are pink and white criss-crossed striped. The first coverlet is white with lace and embroidered and gathered inserts. Matching pillow covers on two more pillows. The quilt is a true miniature quilt with embroidered details that include tiny buttons. Two pillows use one of the quilt fabrics and another pillow is has a quilted face. As if that weren't enough there is also a crocheted throw. This is really a work of art that I just love owning.
The night gown on Marley is another handmade item along with her headband of flowers.
Since Marley is 12" tall, this bed is the correct scale for my Fashion Royalty dolls although the pink metal frame might be on the girly side for these sophisticated ladies. If I wanted to, I could always change the color of the frame.

This Marley is originally Ocean Mist Basic.

I've had a few of the original Marley dolls but not for years. The line ended before the body was updated to bending wrists so she's a pretty stiff one. I think Tonner's Patience and the younger Sister Agnes use the same body with full articulation. I wonder if the vinyl is the same tone.

MetroDolls Proxy Bidding - NOW!

For those who cannot attend who want a chance to own one or more of the amazing artist creations donated, proxy bidding will continue until Friday, October 2, 2015.

All the information on how to bid is here: http://metrodolls.blogspot.com/p/proxy.html

Below are the beautiful items available or proxy bidding. Most of the items are the complete dressed doll. In some cases, the offering is for the wig, the jewelry, the outfit or a combination of those.
The link above will take you to the MetroDolls page which has all the information you need to make decisions and bids.

I see a three items I'd love to add to my own collection.  Hopefully I will remember to keep track of the bids so I can report back on the amount each item brought in.

If money were no object, what would you like to own?
